A BRIGHTER FUTURE

Let's Make a Difference

Welcome

Thank you for stopping by today. My name is Gregory F.X. Daly, and I am the Collector of Revenue for the City of St. Louis, Missouri. As Collector of Revenue, it is my responsibility to collect real estate taxes, personal property taxes, earnings taxes, and water and refuse bills both fairly and efficiently. It is my goal to do so in a way that inspires public confidence, while enforcing the Missouri State Statutes and providing exemplary public service.

Life is changing fast. As your Collector of Revenue, I think it’s important to adapt, evolve and innovate to address the needs of our diverse community

My team and I know you work hard for your money. We respect that by working hard to expand our services and provide a better experience for you whether you interact with us online or in person.

The Collector of Revenue Office collects over $700 million each year. I believe the people of this great city deserve an experienced leader to ensure your taxes are collected and distributed to taxing authorities with professionalism and integrity.

If you are interested in joining my team, supporting my campaign, or have any questions pertaining to the Collector of Revenue, please do not hesitate to contact my office or me.

Sincerely,

Gregory F.X. Daly

ABOUT ME

Putting My Experience to Work

LIFELONG CITY RESIDENT

A lifelong resident of the City of St. Louis, Gregory F.X. Daly was born and raised in the 12th Ward, a neighborhood where he lives today. Daly has dedicated his career to serving the people of this great city. For much of his adult life, Gregg Daly has worked in various city staff positions and elected positions. After proudly serving in the National Guard from 1971 - 1977, Gregg returned to St. Louis and went to work as a policy aide for three Aldermanic Presidents including Tom Zych, Tom Villa,

and Francis Slay. In 1998 he was elected License Collector, a position he held until 2006, when he then was elected Collector of Revenue.

EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP

As the Collector, Gregg has worked to streamline and evolve the collection process, making it more efficient and taxpayer friendly. While understanding that paying bills and taxes is never fun, it can at least be easy; and that’s something he strives to do as Collector.

My Work as Your Collector of Revenue

The office of the Collector of Revenue has come a long way since I assumed leadership. I inherited a well-run but technologically deficient organization. Working with a newly formed leadership team that I put in place, we enhance the services and efficiency of an office that had been run the same old way for too many years.

My Commitment to You

Those who know me well know that I have committed my entire adult life to bringing people together for the health and prosperity of this city. I have worked hard to avoid the negative political rhetoric that encompasses politics today and makes voters frustrated and angry.

In the News and Community

I’ve been around St. Louis for a long time. Not sure there is a corner of this city that I haven’t visited, whether it’s been for a neighborhood meeting, to volunteer on a project, to experience a great meal or to share a beer with a friend.
